Every time we leave our dog at doggie daycare or leave her with family when we go on vacation she comes home and pees in the house when she is asleep. Any suggestions on why this may be happening?

Stress and disruption of routine will cause dogs to do strange things.

Just ignore her behavior and continue with your routine. She'll snap out of it.

As for the peeing in her sleep.. You might want to get that checked. She could be having urinary problems such as a UTI and the only way she can relieve herself is when her body is relaxed.

Its always a good idea to consult a vet with any strange or different behaviors.. Sometimes it's a way for our animals to tell us that something is wrong.. either medically or environmentally (you guys being gone for the weekend)

If its all the time u leave her at someone's house or at the doggy day care she might be stressed with all the moving if she doesn't stop peeing in her sleep u may want to take her to the vet to get checked out.
