O.k. so that's the way it starts, I know so much about the movie, but for the life of me can't remember the name. It's an 80's movie, and it's about this boy who lives with his aunt because his parent's are dead. He's always getting beaten up, but one day he's called on by his father, a king of another "far away land". The boy, turns out to be named "Mio, or Neo", and he makes a new friend. So they do their boy things, and have fun. The boy finds out about this king who steals children and turns their hearts to stone, with this big claw like hand. Some woman makes him an invicible cloak, and him & the friend go to this castle to fight him. The boy wins, of course, and they rescue the children whose hearts had turned to stone... so yea, HELP! :p

How odd that this never got answered... it's Mio in the Land of Faraway (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0093543/). People ask about this one all the time. That, and The Hugga Bunch Movie, my sworn enemy.
