I'm almost 18 , my brother is 22 and my younger brother 16. Meand my older brother want custody of my younger half sister who is 6. Me and my younger brother are in care/care leavers due to neglect from our mother, who we recently found out is pregneant again. I don't want my younger sister to go through what we did. Can you help please? Have I got a chance of custody?

Unless you have a job and a home of your own its unlikely you would be granted guardianship.

No being brother and sister you will not be given first preference. It will be the court who will after judging the intelligence of child will ask the child with whom she wish to stay. Or where the court thinks that her future will be secure and safe. U can just try with strong evidences in your favour

Do you have any backup for that? In my experience, blood relatives ARE given preference. And the court will not even bother asking a 6 yr old their preference.
The problem with this OP is that they don't have a stable home of their own. If they did, I think they would have a chance for custody.
Its nice that you want to help, but please make sure of the accuracy of your advice before posting.
