I have a 2005 Honda Accord V6.The power shuts off and on,but the engine never stops.Sometimes when I shut the car off,it looses power and will need a jump.Sometimes it starts after a while.

. Remove and fully charge, or replace, the battery. Most auto parts stores will charge batteries for free.

. Have the alternator tested. Regulated battery voltage should be 14 to 15 volts.

Jumping your car increases the risk that a voltage spike or incorrect cable hook-up could fry your ECM (computer), alternator, and/or various sensors.
