I am emancipated, but I believe my father claimed me on his taxes. My financial aid is significantly lower than usual, and so was my tax return. Also, I had a very high expected family contribution number.

When you filed your 2010 tax return did you claim the regular standard deduction and not check the box that says you are a dependent of someone else? If so, then your tax refund was based on how you filed, not on whether your father claimed you or not. It does not matter if someone tries to claim you as a dependent, as long as your filing is accurate. The IRS may get around to investigating the discrepancy, but it's really not your problem.
And as for financial aid - if you are emancipated you are dealing directly with your school, so you should be well aware of how your aid is calculated. It sound like the school is working off an old version of your financial aid application, before you were emancipated. Did you submit proper documenation to the school to show your emancipated status, such as a copy of the court's decision?
