I may purchase a 2 stage variable speed Goodman or Whirlpool 95 gas furnace and I am curious on average, how long do these censor's last for the variable speed and what is the cost to replace the censor when going bad?

Or, should I go with the step down, which is the multi-speed (low, medium and high)?

Thanks!

the variable speed motor can cost as much as 1200 bucks to replace, just so you know

the multispeed l-m-h motor much cheaper, normal under 400.00 bucks,, this is costs where I live,is different in other states and cities
