I am dr imran haider (shia ) want to marry dr ammarah shahid (sunni) ,
Our families have met each other and liked each other very much but on the basis of sect her father is not willing
Is marriage between shia and sunni is possible ,
I am shia the member of muslim ummah , this is halal for us but why we are so conserved mind , plzzz tell me some solution ?

If your family and her family like each other you have to meet more often so you can show them that there is no big diffrence between you guys you are both muslim you both believe that there is one god and that muhammed is his messenger and that you both believe in everything that's written in the Koran. And why would it not be allowed to marry a shia woman who is also a muslim if it's allowed to marry a christian and even a jewish woman.

Please be very careful, your advice will cause someone to die if they listen to you. Are you a younger child who does not understand how things are done in many middle eastern nations. People, and esp women are abused or killed all the time, in fact it is expected if the girl would do these things.

To them, they are not Muslim, they don't accept the other group as valid Muslim at all.
