Guru Bhai1,

Firstly, I welcome you to this great site!

O yeah, English is a queer language. But, we can learn to speak it correctly, to some extent, with some practice. I sail in the same boat which you sail in. You too seem to be from Punjab. Dear, I took the help of some books, on pronunciation. Moreover, there is Pronunciation Dictionary, in which the pronunciation of each word is given in brackets. Moreover, I would suggest you to listen to English speech, watch English movies, which will definitely help you get a good flow, and last but most important thing is to talk with the people, in your vicinity or knowledge/social circle, who (at least want to) speak good English in English language. I hope it will definitely help you get good command over King's language. Read out loud, from the books or newspapers. Take those items which you like, as it will motivate you to read and your interest will automatically build.

Reading out loud is helpful.
