I want to lose weight but I don't want to have to announce it because I think it would be kind of embarrassing to say "I want to lose weight" when I am only 13. I want to be able to lose weight without anyone knowing that is what I am trying to do. I weigh 140 pounds and I want to get to at least 120-115 by the time the next school year starts. Would I be able to lose 20 pounds in 6-7 months without anyone knowing? If so, how?

If that attachment did'nt work then, here I'm typing it is below,
Your BMI:
24.03
Note; All BMI between 18.5 and 25 is considered healthy.
The healthy weight range for your height is between 107.8 lbs and 145.6 lbs.
Your weight is within this healthy range.
Your Goal BMI
19.74
It is considered healthy too.
You lose weight by keeping the calories you eat below the calories you burn each day. The number of calories you should restrict from your diet depends on how much weight you want to lose and over what time. This step will help you estimate your calorie restriction based on your weight goal.
Your Calorie Restriction Equation
Weight Loss per Day / Calories per Pound = Calorie Restriction per Day
0.14 3500 478
Your Calorie Restriction Estimate
Time Span: 26 week(s) 1 day(s)
Pounds to Lose: 25
Pounds per Week: 0.96
Pounds per Day: 0.14
Cal. Restriction per Day: 478
This table estimates your daily calorie restriction based on your weight goal. This is an estimate of how many calories you need to cut back each day to achieve your weight goal.
Based on the guideline that a restiction of 3,500 calories results in one pound of weight loss, to achieve your goal of losing 25 pounds in 26 week(s) and 1 day(s) you should restrict your calorie intake by 478 calories per day.
Your Calorie Balance Equation
Calories You Burn - Calorie Restriction = Calorie You Can Eat
1,516 478 1,038

First you are 13 and should be having all sorts of body changes and growth over the next year. You also did not, as far as I could see say how tall you are.
Next while not a secret, it will take changing your life style, how much do you exercise, so when people see you jogging or running every day, or starting to do exercises, when people notice you are no longer eating desert and so on.
The issue is who cares, it is childish to keep it a secret in fact if you tell a few people, they can try and help you.
