the gases nitrogen dioxide and oxygen react to produce dinitrogen pentoxide gas.what is the chemical equation for this reaction?how do I classify each reaction into as many categories as possible?

I think nitrogen may not give pentoxides due to its trivalency.check it once

N2O5 certainly exists, but I am not aware that it is prepared in this manner. It it works, I guess the reaction would be: 4NO2 + O2 ---> 2N2O5
