View Full Version : Someone broke up with me - how do I get a good night's sleep?

Someone broke up with me 3 weeks ago and I am still yet to have a good night's sleep.

I have tried sleeping pills (Kalms) and that helped me sleep. However, since I don't want to be too dependent on them I have stopped and switched to warm milk, playing music whilst sleeping and sleeping spray.

It is not the 'getting to sleep' that is hard, it is the 'staying asleep'. I wake up 5-6am without fail, and I am tired.

I know this is a typical break-up response but I need to sleep, any tips?

Thank you.

When you wake up, get up, and get busy with a chore, job, or activity that wakes you up completely. Add more activity to your daily routine, with plenty of fresh air, and sun, and in time you will be on a good routine.
