So about 2 months ago I was in the line at macdonalds, getting a meal then all of a sudden I felt very sick and felt like I needed to sit down, my vision went black like how it does when I get up too fast but when I kept blinking like I usually do to make it go away it didn't, and then I fainted and fell to the ground.
Before this I had never fainted. I hadn't drank or eated anything that day before hand but this is not uncommon as it is actually rare for me to eat breakfast so I do not believe this was the reason. Anways, 3 weeks later I was lying down in bed and it was like confetti was falling from the sky but it was like bright lights and it was slowly taking over my vision, I however did not faint.
Then yesterday I was at a wedding standing then I felt like I was going to faint again so I sat down and instead of my vision going black it was getting taken over by a bright light.
Why was it a bright light and not my vision going black this time?

This actually happened to me once before. It was REALLY frightening. I got up from the loving room sofa to go and make food (As I hadn't eaten that day!) and everything went black. I was still moving, it was like I'd just gone blind. Blinking didn't help. After passing out for a while I woke up and everything was okay again.

I'm not sure how much the light was relevant, but not eating will definitely contribute.

Have you been checked by your doctor for hypoglycemia, or diabetes?
