I really liked this girl I had met recently. We had become pretty close. She was really comfortable with me so I thought it would a queue to like ask her out. SO after I did, she was smiling and said maybe. Bottom line short she's had a rough life. She said she didn't want to drag anyone down. That she was used to be being alone and how she didn't know if she was ready to like anyone.

I took this as an easy way to let me down. So I asked her if it was. If she wasn't looking for a relationship she could just tell me. She said she told me why she wasn't looking for one and I should understand where she was coming from. I told her to I understood and told her for letting me down easy (like in a satiric way)

So I was like then what is it. And she said she thought I was mad at her. I responded bad and was like I'm only mad for getting my hopes up when you said maybe... Well lets just say I don't think we would talk. She says she's OK. But I don't think she is...


SO before I probably ruined it. Do you think she liked me and really didn't want a relationship. OR was that "maybe" just a nice way to keep things the same?

Yeah man I agree with PRivers. That chick is a headcase and u don't want to mess with her. Just cut your loses and keep it moving. That girl will grown up to be alcoholic and drug addict and pregnant with your best friends baby.
