I have been doing Martials art for many years and I have come to wonder if I would have to register myself as a martial artist as I use weapons in the martial arts I do any ideas ?

According to the Prevention of Crime Act of 1953 you may not carry in public any weapon,

All martial art weapons fall under that. You would need to contact your local police on proper way to transport to practice.

You do not register yourself.

Thank you for your reply and am registed as I have do ninjutsu for some years now but am hoping to study kenjutsu and battojutsu and that would mean I would have to carry weapons with me also at the moment I am doing this myself so am trying to find good books/dvd on the subject.
