This movie was made maybe in the 40`s or 50`s.
The scene I remember is, it's a war movie.mabe wwii.
There is an american battle ship that ran aground not too far from shore.
The ship was on fire and about to explode.
All the sailors were leaving the ship one at a time and was walking in the water to shore.
But one sailor was trapped in the ship and expected to die in it when it explodes.they couldn't free him.
As the sailors passed this one trapped sailor on there way off the ship they would give him a piece of there own belonings to say goodbye.one gave him a pocket knife,another gave him a cross from his neck and another gave him his dog tags.the last sailor to leave gets half way to shore but turns around and goes back to the ship and frees
