Hi,

I had taken a housing loan in 2003 and 2007 when I was resident in India. I moved to kenya in 2009. I have enough money to close the 2003 loan and part prepayment of the 2007 loan. Are there any implications now on prepayment since the income is being remitted from outside india while the loan taken was by a resident?

I am being given to understand there is something called a NRI pancard. I have a valid pancard from the time I was employed in India. Do I need to now get a NRI pancard. If yes , what's the procedure?
