Explain 2/5 * (32 y) = 16

Please explain it, I'm not quite sure what to do.

It asks you to solve in y:
\frac{2}{5}\times(32y)=16
multiply both sides by \frac{1}{\frac{2}{5}\times 32} and you get
y=\frac{5}{4}
