Can you give me the average price for an inducer motor for a luxaire heating/cooling unit?

Just the motor can run over $200. Removal of the old motor and install of the new one can be done by most DIYers American HVAC Parts 1/15 H.P. 460 Volts RPM 3000 Rotation C.C.W.(FASCO, YORK) (http://www.americanhvacparts.com/Merchant2/merchant.mvc?Session_ID=6bc0790dd6abaa669ec97c2f4e e2b83a&Store_Code=AM&Screen=PROD&Category_Code=fasco-luxa&Product_Code=MOT1171D) The one shown may not be your exact model, they vary with model and I don't see that you gave us that part

Thanks so much this was helpful. I have been given an repair estimate of 422.00 and this is very hard to pay out right now. I wish I could do the work myself. Is it an easy repair for homeowners?

Yes if you are handy with tools.
