My 4 month old Pomeranian is the runt of the litter and is very small, only 3 pounds. I tried feeding her fresh ground turkey and rice mixture (cooked of course) and now she is sick. I am very concerned as she is so small. I have her on Nutri-Cal but she barely takes that today. Any suggestions would be most appreciated.

Was she sick before you fed her the turkey and rice? Or after?
Sometimes puppies have a hard time eating the "natural" diets. Its very rich and gives them a pretty bad upset stomach.
Nutri-cal is very rich also... You're giving her an overload!
Stop giving the supplements and the natural diets... And start giving her puppy food
You can find all sorts of puppy foods that are healthy and holistic. A puppy food I have always had good luck with is ProPlan puppy. Once the pup becomes an adult, then you can start playing around with holistic or organic kibbled foods or doing the raw and barf diets. As puppies though, just stick to what is normal for them and what their tiney stomachs can handle.
You can give her something to help with her tummy.. about 1/4 of a teaspoon of pepto bismo should help her out.
Contact your vet and see what type of advise they can give you..
Also, don't rule out any viruses... but I'm pretty sure that it's the overly rich foods you are feeding her.

I agree, her diet sounds pretty adult for her. I would definitely have her checked out for parasites and viruses, if it's all clear start checking the diet. Is she drinking plenty of water and are her bowel movements normal? What does her 'poops' look like?
