I'm 14 years old and haven't started my period, for 1 year! What should I do, I'm still a virgin Obviously! And been to the nearest GP/Doctor, they have just told me it always happens but I'm abit negative to what advice they have told me. Is there no medicines or herbal medicines or food which can cure this? Help :(

I would believe the Doctor who has examined you and advised you.

Anything other advice, particularly on the Internet, could be dangerous.

It just means that you simply have not began puberty. This is normal for teenagers your age. Periods can occur anywhere between 13 and 15 years old. There are herbal supplements and medication that will speed this process up, but it is highly discouraged. The doctor who advised you is right. That's why he spend 10 years in schooling to tell you.

Don't fret! It will happen soon!
