"what to eat when beastfeeding"
Oh dear I hope that was a slip of the finger on the keyboard and not a 'Freudian Slip'. Lol
Give first take later. If you want your child to be a healthy capable young adults, now is the time to give them what they need to be that later; love, respect.. What you give now you get back later.

Anything that you ingest can and will go into the breastmilk. How much of it, and whether baby likes or dislikes it with differ with every food/drink and baby/mother. For example, eatting spicy foods can sometimes upset babies tummy giving gas or indegestion/spitting up more. However, if baby is use ot you eatting spicy food in your common diet, it may not effect baby at all. Just be chosey about what you eat, and watch baby for reactions, to see how well it is received. Baby's tummys are more sensitive then ours. It's a trial and error kind of thing, but there are some common foods(such as the hot and spicy) that tend to disagree.

Hi, congrats on breastfeeding your baby, your doing an amazing thing.
It's doubtful a few mints are going to change the flavour of your breastmilk. Your baby has been tasting what you've eaten for 9 months, so you baby should know by now mama's taste in food.
You can really eat what you want, there is not much a breastfeeding mother can not eat.
If you'd like more support with breastfeeding, I'm here but another site which is good is llli.org there is a great forum for breastfeeding mothers
Good luck!
