500,000+ miles, if you use full synthetic heavy duty diesel engine oil, Motorcraft oil filter and change them per the Owner's Manual. You also need to take excellent care of the cooling system, using the recommended antifreeze, distilled water, and SCA. If you don't take proper care of the cooling system, cavitation will greatly shorten the life of the engine.
