There's this girl I met a few days ago, we really hit it off, we were hugging and holding hands etc. I finally kissed her and my heart rate increased, I asked her out the next day and she said yes. Every time I kissed her after that my heart raced faster. She text me today saying that it wasn't working because she's not fully over her ex. She said when she's with me I make her really happy and she doesn't think about him at all, but when I go she thinks about him and misses him. She ended it as well because she's going out with him and her mates tomorrow getting pissed and she didn't want to cheat on me. Which I respect and understand.

I've told her I'm going to be her friend and she says we can still hang out and talk. But I want to know how long it will take her to get over him. Because I really fell for her hard and I can't get her out of my head.

How to help a girl to get over her ex to be with me?

You leave her completely alone until she is over him, and misses you. She will NEVER miss you if you are hanging out, and talking to her. NEVER!

No telling how long that will take, so don't sit around waiting for her to become available, or allow your dumb heart to make you act like her dumb puppy, while she gets over an ex she may well keep talking to, and go back with.

Fact is she has options and you don't, because you are smitten, and she isn't. If she was, she would be ready and eager to share your feelings. She ain't.

He's right don't hang out with her its only going to make things worse on your part she isn't going to miss you if you hang out with you. I know from experience. Trust don't talk to her. Take it day by day.
