We bought a new designer dog, pomapoo, and are excited to introduce her to our other dog, a rat terrier. The two dogs are great together. We have had the new puppy, Maggie for 2 days. She is potty trained and made the transition very well from a blue potty mat to our grass outdoors. She runs, jumps and plays on the grass. When she gets back inside the house, she will just sitk and not walk around at all, neither to get food and water or to follow us or our granddaughters. She loves to be cuddled and picked up. She also is crate trained and will walk into the crate, but will not willinly walk out of it. She has eaten and drank, but we have either brought it to her or carried her to it.
She is going to see our vet tomorrow, Monday, the 12th of Dec. I have some ideas as to past treatment causing this problem and know that my patience is necessary, but am wondering about any feedback from someone else. Thanks.

There can be a few things going on. For one thing a house environment is very different from outside. In a home static electricity can build up and if the puppy gets a shock it can learn that running in a house causes pain. You just need to work with the dog. If you set the dog down in the home does it go right back to its crate? It may also have issues with your other dog. Be aware of that.
