Hi, I am 19 and had sex 5 days ago. The last day of my period was 6 days ago. I have been on birth control for about two years now. I noticed some slight bleeding when I used the bathroom. But two hours later I checked and there was no bleeding. Could I be pregnant? And how soon can I take a home pregnancy test?

The earliest to take a test is 5 days before your period is due. I always took the test after I mist my period. It is to early to tell if your pregnant.

It's possible you could be pregnant, but unlikely, especially if you have been using your birth control consistently. It would also be unlikely due to the timing of the sex, the end of your period, and how long it usually takes for implantation to occur if you were indeed to become pregnant from that encounter.
As misty4484 said, some tests do allow you to test a few days before the next period is suspected, but they are more accurate once a period is missed.
Did you have sex within a few days prior to noticing the blood? Sometimes that can be a cause for spotting or light bleeding. It may also simply be due to the hormone changes from the birth control... some women will experience breakthrough bleeding or spotting, even if it has never happened before.
See what happens when you would expect your next period. In the meantime, continue with your birth control as before.
