I lied about my age because I'm 13 and he's 16 and he thinks I'm 14 but when I turn 14 and he comes round.. Awkward.
Help me out guys!

I don't see any solution other than admitting that you lied.

What State?

I trust this is about dating and not about a sexual relationship - which could end up with him in jail.

It's not going to make too much of a difference, as even if you were 14 you're still legally allowed to hold hands. Just see this as a mistake, tell the truth to him, and be honest in the future.

- Unless, of course, the parents don't know there's a "relationship" and lying or sneaking are involved. Then I see problems.

Aye I was trying to get that point across in the "Be honest in the future" bit.

OP - To everyone. I never kept anyone from my dad. I've never actually lied to him. Not as far as I remember, anyway. I'm sure there were white lies when I was very young. But my honesty has build a trustworthy great relationship with him.

You lied about your age and depending on what state you live in, he could be in serious trouble if this relationship gets sexual. Are you even in High School?
Tell the truth!
Do our parents know you are dating a 16 year old?

Ok,I will not address the sex or what you are or are not doing. You lied, he will find out, so he either finds out from someone else or at your party or from your friends when they post on Facebook or somewhere.

So you be honest and see what happens.
