Okay so my fiancˇe and I have an extremely active sex life.
Two weeks ago I had an unusual period that first of all was a few days late and lasted less than 3 days, was extremely light and brownish in color. Typically I have very predictable and average periods.
For a while now I have been experiencing nausea, headaches, lower abdominal pains, hungry all the time, super tired and feeling as if I could slap someone for any reason.
I am extremely concerned that I may be pregnant my questions are...

Could I be pregnant?

Would it be too soon to take a test?

Am I unusual?

Should I be aware of any other possible things that could be going wrong?

Yes, you can get your period and still be pregnant; ask a Pharmacist to recommend a HPT at this point in time; I don't know what you mean by unusual - your anger?; many things can go wrong. That's why pregnant women need to be under the care of a Physician.

Yes, as JudyKayTee said, you can have some bleeding or spotting in early pregnancy. It's not technically a period, but some women will believe it to be one, not realizing that they are actually pregnant. Most often, if there is any bleeding, it will be unusual from a normal period... fewer days, less flow, such as what you experienced.

It may just be an off period, but with the other possible symptoms, certainly try a pregnancy test. Make sure that you follow the directions carefully to have the most accurate results.
