Hi very short version of my story is my ex girlfriend isn't who I thought she was and she did terrible things to me and everyone around her. She is a drug addict now living with the man she cheated on me with. Its been about 6 month since I stopped contact with her and I think about it a little every day and I was sort of doinn OK lately but I had a nightmare the other night about visiting her at her new house with him which tore me up for the next few days. I know I will never see her again and don't want to because she will only hurt me but will this pain ever leave me

Yes, your pain will eventually lessen with time. It's a healing process. Keeping busy help and doing some things that you really enjoy doing. Like hanging out with friends. Keep yourself healthy by looking after you. Eating a healthy diet and keeping active physically. Eating healthy and keeping physically active has been proven to ward away depression. It sounds like you have pretty good insight everything. Not contacting her, realizing she will only continue to hurt you if she stays in your life. Take care of yourself!

Wow if she really hurt you,you should give up and look for someone else.

You just needa move on but that can't stop you from loving and caring about her you can always be there for her but love another
