I got mirena back in August. When I first got it I experienced horrible cramps that went away after a few hours. For August I had a normal period after getting mirena, then came September. During September I got my period regularly but after it went away for a few days spotting/ a light period came back. I continued until the end of September like that. I skipped my period in October (I did not have any sex during that time frame) and figured it was normal since had such a long standing one is September. I also skipped in November, which my friend's say makes since because I had a pretty much month long period in September. Now it's December and I still haven't had a period... I've only had sex twice during his time frame. (My boyfriend and I are long distance) Pretty much, is it normal to lose your period so quickly after mirena, and to have such a long period before that? Should I get a pregnancy test?
