I am 37 weeks pregnant and having regular contractions but they aren't that intense. Should I call the doctor or just wait it out?

You could call the doctor, but the doctor is going to tell you to go to the hospital to be monitored. You see, there is no way for us to assess you over the phone or over the computer. If you are having regular contractions, it's best to go to the hospital you are supposed to deliver at so that it can be determined whether you are in labor.

How regular is regular? Every 15-20 minutes? Every 5 minutes? Did your doctor give you a guide they are comfortable with for when to go in? Some may suggest when contractions are 3-5 minutes apart for at least an hour, for example.

Try something to drink, take a warm bath, get something to eat. If they continue as before, give your doctor a call for a heads-up. They will let you know when they would like you to go to hospital. If they subside, they are Braxton Hicks and you wouldn't need to go in.
