In June of 2001 I had my thyroid removed... its been five months and I'm on syntroid... my hair is completely falling out I even se bald spots.. I need help and I need it fast! What can I take, use or eat to help my hair grow back?

Hair loss is a side effect.
Do some searching on Armour and other medicines, but DON'T do anything without talking to your endocrinologist. And many of the people you read about still have their thyroid, so be careful.
But many of those who take Synthroid say that their doctors aren't attuned very well to side effects.

Hair loss (in nutrition) is associated with a need for the B complex and much less sugar (sugar helps wipe out Bs), but of course all vitamins and minerals are part of healthy hair and skin.
Your thyroid has a to do with more than just how active or sluggish you feel.
Without it you will need to try 10 times harder than other people to eat a healthy diet.
You might want to check out some wigs.

Thanks joypulv!! Trust me I am very concerned couse I knew that my hair will fall out excessively and I'm taking vitamins 3 times a day washing my hair with some good stuff but no changes!! My hair was shiny, long and thick 3 months ago... it seems like no baby hair is coming out and that worries me... off course I'm starting to gain weight as well and I'm very moody... I am scared to even eat cause of the "scare of gain weight" I'm working out as well eating very healthy and no changes just set backs?!

One of the symptoms of hypothyroidsm is hair lose which including the eyebrows. That means you need to increase the synthroid dosage .Once your hypo status correct your hair will grow back as before.Go to your doctor.He/she will know how to do it. Good luck.
