Just wanted to ask.. my problem.. is when I type in command prompt ip config.. I couldn't see my ip address. All media are disconnected.. although nothing is connected.. before I was able to see my local ip even though nothing is connected.. I just need to see this because I need it to add on a config.. to be able to use a VPN.. please help.. will disabling the media sensing help?

Sounds like you do not have your Ethernet cable plugged in and your computer is set to DHCP. To set up your VPN you will need to connect to a router, or a cable/DSL Modem

I have a similar thing but when I went to go ipconfig /release something happened I don't know what but then I went ipconfig /renew and it didn't work and I don't want to setup a VPN I can use internet full but I can't play minecraft online when I could before please help me.
