I have random sudden pulls or stretches on the outside of the left side of my right foot. It lasts about 3-4 minutes long, and creates 2-3 small bumps which are extremely painful if touched. It's the area between my big toe and the heel. So basically the skin on the inside of my foot. Usually I just stay in my position for the time being, as the bumps then start to go away.

Im really curious as to what it could be.. Can anyone please tell me?

I get those all the time, sometimes even in my sleep, when I'm doing nothing, or just from moving my foot in the wrong direction. It's simply a muscle cramp (charley horse). It happens when a muscle involuntarily contracts and can't relax. Sometimes I take my hand and push on it really hard, or massage it. I know it might hurt even to just touch it; but it'll feel better faster.
