H that had to be fixI bought a 2004 Volkswagen and was told everything worked. Come to fine out after the title transfer the air bag light was on she said there was a recall but it didn't fix it the door lock that day was having problems looking she said it was the battery the key , not it was the latch, cvboot was torn needed to be replaced that was$600. Then the right light did not work the gut told me the parts holding the bulb were broke and it would be $800. Did not fix no money, when I talked to this person she swore that everything worked and made it sound like I broke it She knew about the light cause she said she drove with the high beam. Do I have any recourse I still owe her $1500 and she has the pink Laura

AMHD does not allow an email address to be posted. Yours will be removed.

You refer to "she" and "this person." Dealer, private owner? What State?

Just so I am positive I have this correct you knew the right light (headlight - ?) did not work, your "gut" told you the assembly was broken but you did not have a mechanic check it and bought the car anyway - ?

Some of this depends on the State. Does the receipt say, "As is?"

Buyer beware is the common term. If you drove the car and inspected it some of this would have eebn obvious. Unles she gave you a written warranty your purchase is considered 'As is" even if that does not appear anywhere.
