   hi, I am having trouble with my heating on one floor only, the thermostat reads 68 degrees, this is correct we have verified it with another thermostat, the thermostat doesn't hold the temperature that it I enter (it is digital), the boiler pump works the hot water is going up the temperature on the boiler seems to be fine, but it is not returning. I was told it could be a frozen spot, so we have been running the water threw the system - this gets the rooms warmer but the system doesn't seem to be working well, this is a 3 zone system and the other zones and thermostats are all working well, any suggestions?? Help

Each zone has its own thermostat and that controls a valve at a hot water manifold. If you have 3 zones, you have 3 valves. Check the valve for your problem zone. I'm guessing you'll find your problem. It still could be the stat for that zone too.

I don't understand where you say the water isn't returning. If it goes into the loop for that floor, it has to come back unless it is leaking somewhere.

The thermostat could be out of calibration. I don't know if there is any adjusting them or not. Easiest thing might be to just turn it up until it keeps the room comfortable no matter what it is set on.
