I have been dating this guy for about 8 months now,
But he always tells me that he only likes me as a friend,
Well after the last time he said it, I broke contact with him as it hurt too much to hear anymore,
But recently I started to miss him as I couldn't seem to put him to the back of my mind anymore so I re-added him on Facebook, he accepted and imediatley started to chat to me, saying that he has missed me and that he only said that he only likes me as a friend as he doesn't want either of us to get hurt as he is moving back to his country in 2012, then asked me to go visit him at the weekend so I did it was amazing, but as soon as we were both waiting for my train back home he got distant again and he still is a little this happens every time, It's hurting more every time.. Would just like someone else's view on this as I think I have fallen for him.

It seems he is honest about his feelings, he is trying not to get too involved since he is going back to his country. It appears he has not interest in making it a relationship where you would be asked to come with him, so he wants to leave it at a friends level.

Well, what the heck are you waiting for?? Go for it!! What have you got to lose? Seriously,, write down the pros and the cons of this relationship vs,, your heart... which you must listen to or you will never know what would have happened,, I would go for it,,
