Hi everyone,

My keyboard is not responding for my laptop. I can plug in a desktop keyboard in the back of the laptop and type fine, but my laptop keyboard do not respond. Do anyone have a idea how to get my keyboard working again. I tried reinstalling windows xp, check the keyboard setting, check device manager for keyboard and did see anything unusual. Any other Ideas?

The keyboards generally have a small plug under or around the leter "Y" or the number "6" . It is possible, perhaps if the laptop was dropped, that the connection has come loose. You could try pushing down gently in this area to see if the keypad drops down at all, re-establishing the connection.

Good Luck,

Hi I've same problem the 1st time is with windows 7 but now is with Xp so in fact I suspect is the external mouse in wireless make a conflict with wifi well I'm not really sure but I resolve partially with a usb external keyboard and if I unplug apparently they function is really tricky problem
