So I have a couple tickets for driving under susupension from 2000, is the statute of limitation up? That was 12 yrs ago.

Statute of Limitations applies to the amount of time that legal action can be taken against you. A ticket is the beginning of legal action. Since you were given the ticket on the spot, Statute of Limitations doesn't apply so those tickets are still outstanding.

Sorry you misunderstand SOL. If you had never got the given a ticket, but a officer knew you did the offense, then after a number of months or years, they can not charge you.

Once you are charged, or given a ticket, there is no SOL.

So what has happened, if you were given the ticket and did not appear in court or pay any fines, they would have issued a warrant most likely for failure to appear ( normally but perhaps they did not) they would have suspended or even revolked your license at this point.

So now to clear it up will be about twice as costly and most likely you will have a longer time to go without a valid drivers license
