OK my question is I had my first child in 2009 and after my six week check up I got on the iud and I was on that for 5 months and I didn't like it so I had it removed and tried again with depo and I was on and off like for instance after 3 months I didn't return for my shot and I went back in October of 2010 got a pregnancies test and it was negative and so I stop the shot totatly to have another child and I don't know what to do know.

It may take up to a year or longer to get pregnant after you are on the shot or IUD you have to investigate both types of birth control. Go to http://www.WebMD.com
