I blew out two tires in the rain from an impact with the curb so I left the car alone with out moving it for a couple of hrs than I went back to take it to wall mart once I got it there and turn the car of now it won't start it cranks up and makes the noise like its almost about to start but it doesn't I'm thinking that theirs no fuel being pump to the engine... please help asap...

. Check all under hood and under dash fuses with a test light or multimeter.

. Remove and fully charge the battery. The battery may have been damaged in the collision. Most auto parts stores will do this for free. If nothing else, this will verify that the battery is fine. You need to establish a "baseline" of what you know is good.

. Check for codes.

. Check for fuel. If you can hear the fuel pump run, while the ignition switch is turned to ON, then the fuel pump is likely fine. An inertia cutoff switch to the fuel pump may have been activated, however, upon impact--look for a reset button.

. Check for spark. If none, focus on the Crankshaft Position Sensor and the Camshaft Position Sensor.

. Ensure the security system hasn't shut down the ignition system, if other efforts fail. Call the dealer regarding this.

Check for a brake light switch stop, located where the brake pedal contacts the switch. It may have popped out during impact, causing the brake light to stay on. Otherwise, the brake light switch may need adjusting. Assess how your brake light switch works.
