I'm been talking to a guy for 9 months and he broke up with his girlfriend they lived together for little over 2 years does she have rights to anything her name isn't on the lease the apartment is under his parents name so does she have any right to the place or anything in the place or any of his money they don't have any kids together

In Texas if you file your taxes as spouses 2 years in a row then you guys are considered to be "married". But whenever they just live together, especially if the apartment is under his parents name then she has NOTHING to do with it.

However, none of this is really your business, let him deal with his ex the way he needs to, you are not even officially together yet. So until something is done about the status leave it alone.

I think she only has rights to what are her possessions, whatever she bought. Did they have an agreement between them for jointly purchased items?
