I want to alphabetize my test pages that are questions with answers. The first line is in bold and the answer is on the next line how do I alphabetize them.

Do you have the Q-A pairs separated in any way, say, with a line or a Return?

You want to use the SORT function in Word.
You will need to play with the options to keep your pairs intact.


Select the text in a bulleted or numbered list.
On the Home tab, in the Paragraph group, click Sort.
In the Sort Text dialog box, under Sort by, click Paragraphs and Text, and then click either Ascending or Descending.
