Hi..

I am 32yrs old and I am currently a housewife... I weigh 70kgs and I am desperate to lose at least 5 kg in the span on one month . I do not get time to exercise because of my little one at home so the only activity on daily basis is household work and I spend a lot of time in front of laptop and TV with him... U have started watching my diet from last one week... please advise me if this will help me to achieve my goal... Morning : Bowl of Corn Flakes.. Lunch : 2 toast with one egg or Small bowl of boiled corn with some spices... Evening : Cup of Coffee and 2 biscuits.. Night : 3 chapatti with some curry and yogurt...
Please suggest anything else I can do to lose weight... I am all set to follow...

You shouldn't starve yourself or you can gain these 5Kg all back in less than a week once you are done with your diet. I recommend: drink 1 full glass of water before each meal, that is going to make you full before you eat. Take advantage of the cold weather and eat a lot of soups but no the kind you buy in the market as they have a lot of sodium that is going to make you bloat; make your own. If you eat salad avoid a lot of dressing. Also, avoid anything that contain fats (no fried food or butter on the potato), cheese, white sauces, starch... : ( It sucks but you will be very happy in the end!
You can talk to your doctor and get a prescription for hunger suppressant or you can stop at a pharmacy and get some gree tea pills.
Keep yourself motivated, think about how good you will feel and look later on. Another very important thing: EXERCISE!! Running is awesome for faster results, get some good music on your Ipod and go for a quick run (10 min/day) you will see the difference!

Thank you so much for the response... The problem is I don't feel hungry after the intake which I mentioned above and like you said I do drink min of 5-8 glasses of water thrghout the day... but will dfnlty try out salads :)... Running is a good sol but then with my little one at home I don't get to do that.. I manage to do 30 min of yoga in the mrng or 30 min of dance exercise in the evng... will that help ?

Yoga is very good for the mind and soul, dancing is nice too its relaxing and take your mind off everything else; however, I would still try to run; I have running, however, I was trying to lose weight for my friend's wedding and I just had 2 weeks to fit in my new dress. I ran everyday 1,5 to 2 miles a day 6 days a week, some other days I was tired and just did a fast walk, I did not diet because I was on antibiotics, in the end I was really surprised with the results. My legs looked amazing and I was so thin that I couldn't believe. I have friends that run with their babies on the stroller; sounds crazy but the baby seems to have a lot of fun lol. Maybe you can run later when us husband is at home and can watch the little one.
Keep doing the good work and good luck to you.
