Hi, I have multi-zone heating in my house. This morning the kitchen zone was not running. The heat worked in all the other zones. This is an old house with old thermostats-
The kitchen thermostat had been knocked into... so I thought that perhaps I needed to replace the thermostat. I replaced the old round one with a honeywell RTH110B. Both the old and the new needed only two wires-so it SEEMED simple enough to do. The only problem is-there is still no heat. (hot water heat) The rest of the house is fine/and there is plenty of hot water... any suggestions? Thanks for the help

The thermostat controls a solenoid valve that opens and closes allowing water into your zone. Use a muiltimeter and confirm that the valve is getting power to open it. Test your other valves so you know what a good reading looks like. If your power is Ok but the valve is not opening you may need to replace the solenoid.
