What is giving this error message as wireless connections are normally dealt with via the network connection in the control panel ?

This might not be a problem of the router... You need to first check if the modem you are using along with the router connects you the internet alone or not... If you are able to go on the internet when the router is disconnected... That means the router and the modem are not able to communicate each other... If you are not able to go online even with the router disconnected you might need to call your internet provider so they can check if connections are good for their modem or not.

If your internet provider finds everything good in that case the problem is on your computer. Your internet drivers have gone corrupted... Since its not allowing you to renew ip address ----> you may try typing " netsh winsock reset " in command prompt
Top open command prompt : Click on Start ----> Run ----> type "cmd" ----> in the black box type the above command... It would require your computer to restart... Restart your system manually...
