I'm looking for two movies I vaguely remember. I think they may have been from tales from the crypt type stories but I'm completely unsure, possibly even hbo originals?

The first one is about a well in a dessert where some kind of creatures send treasure up if you send food down, I think some lady pushed her husband in. That's all I remember.

The second one I only remember a lady setting up some one by tying herself up in a tall ceiling of a mansion, this is done weird by placing large furniture to fall which is what pulls her by means of ropes and pulleys 10-15 foot to the ceiling?
I don't remember anything else.

I seem to think they are related and possibly like creepshow or tales from the crypt but maybe not. I just want to stop wondering what they are as they are the last two I've seen (at least part of) and don't know the names.

Treasures and gets greedy. He doesn't want to trade
He wants to take it all. He climbs down the well
But doenst climb out. The woman hauls up the bucket,
And the creatures have placed food in the bucket

The second one might (might) be The Beneficiary - someone else on this site was looking for it a while ago - here's a clip from the movie, at 16 seconds, it shows her being raised up with some sort of pulley contraption - hope this helps:

Bingo bango! I'm almost positive the first one is right and after seeing foreign box art for the 1997 version of The Benificiary I expect that to be correct or just a very weird coincedence!

Many thanks!
