I am 25 years old and committed agg. Assault w deadly weapon when I was 13. I am currently on parole until 2013. I was sent to a facility in houston tx, for this crime and released a year later, shortly after I was released I violated probabtion by leaving out of state. I was held in a facility in Missouri for almost 4 months before the state of bexar county came and had me trasported back to Texas. I was the sent to the Texas youth commission after which was 3 years later when I was 16 that's when they claim my crime was committed so all the time I did successfully in the houston faility was not given to me. I submitted some paper work showing the actual date I was sentenced which was 2000 and I got a smug response stating "you committed your crime in 2003 add 10 years to that and you get 2013 but what I was showing was that I was sentenced to 10 years in 2000 not 2013. Is there anything I can do about this because I am an adult now trying to balance going to school and having to deal with parole I have even obtained the actual paperwork that states my sentencing date was 2000 not 2003. If anyone has any answers it would be highly appreciated, thanks.

If probation department has incorrect dates from the judges order. You hire an attorney and ask for a correction to be made to the court. If the probation department has the court record and the judges ruling differs from your record, it will be harder,

Next while they often give credit for time served, they do not have to.

Considering you have less than a two years, ( not sure when in 2013) it may take months and 1000's of dollars to solve this, if it can be
