Hello:
The right wing got its wrist slapped. Their overreach is, well, OVER. Dum de dum, the wicked witch is dead. That, plus the fact that the Republicans hate their nominees, is a guarantee that Obama will be reelected and the house will go back to the Democrats.
The only ones who this is NOT obvious to are them... If you don't believe it, watch what they say about my post.

Don't know how you read that Ex are you expecting a landslide victory in the house next year. Remember the public is fickle. You need to be very careful, BO is visiting here this week and he may learn that a carbon tax appears to bolster the flagging support for a leftist leader.

If unemployment stays at 9% the Repubics could nominate a turnip and it would win.
What I don't understand is why isn't any Dem primarying the Pres. Well I do know why but I won't say it .

Is that why you're running turnips, and saying no to everything that would REDUCE unemployment?
I don't know why nobody is primarying him. I'd be for it, but I think it would leave an opening for your turnips. I'd be interested in what you "know".
You should know that when I said "left", I didn't mean FAR left to where I am. If you were right about the rightward shift that we took, and I think you were, then the leftward shift I refer to, is a shift back towards the MIDDLE.
The evidence?? If nothing more, look no further than the recall of Russell Pearce, the rightwinger who authored Arizona's paper please law.. I could go on, but you know what happened.. Yes, it wasn't a landslide. The Republicans had a victory in Virginia... But, that doesn't change the tide.
Look. Before this election, I would have agreed with you about your turnips... The electorate surprised me... I thought the left wing was toast.

I think it's less the dems doing a good job instead it's more of the republicans shooting themselves in the foot and pissing off the voters.

I don't know about the country. The Ohio vote is the key reason for the optimism that the President may survive .
But Virginia and North Carolina are key states the President won in 2008 that he'll probably lose this time.
Pennsylvania is also toss up although I have my doubts that West Pa. (where the President has really pissed off the people) can overcome the President's strength in the Philly area.
The President is doing very poorly in the key swing state of Fla. Where his failed policies are really hurting the people badly.
He will lose Indiana ;a state he won in 2008.
Putting it another way. Assuming he's safe in the bluest of blue states ,his path to victory goes through the heartland ;the very area where "bitter clingers" live.
They won't get fooled with hopey changy bs. Again. There is now a resume to look at . If he has not delivered in the states hit hardest by his failed policies then all the 'blame the Republic Congress' will just be wind for the windmills.
If it is a given that Mittens is the Republic nominee ,he would be smart to consider Rubio or Va. Governor Bob McDonnell as a running mate .

Ex if you are far left then I'm a cauliflower(that's white by the way), I had real trouble recently deciding whether you were right or left. You know what is confusing about your politics, your dems, left side, are coloured blue. Now here the left is coloured RED (socialist) and the far left GREEN (environmentalist), the BLUE is reserved for conservatives so if you talk colour I become confused because your reds are conservative.

That's because the libs did some news speak when they displayed the electoral map. If it was being accurately displayed the lib states would be the red states .

Yep... specifically the late Tim Russert . Unfortunately ,after a decade ,it's become part of the lexicon.

Instead I though it might have come from the "bonny blue flag that wears a single star"
