When I was about 10-13 I was home alone. I was on my. Computer doing something for a while. Then I start to hear footsteps. Nobody was in the house only the dogs. The footsteps turned into heavier and heavier footsteps almost stomping towards my room. I was so terrified I hid. I had this Bunk bed that had this closet. I opened the closet and shut the door. The footsteps stop right outside the closet. I had the closet door cracked open a tad. In like a minute I remember seeing this big black shadow. It was like some sort of smoke thing. The next thing I remember was seeing some sort of black ooz coming through the cracked door. The Garage door opened and my parents were home. The ooze suddenly vanished and so did the shadow. I have never experienced this again. I remember it to this day. I told my parents and they just sprinkled the house with holy water. What could this be? Every time I'm home alone I fear itwill come and visit me whatever this thing is.

What do you think it was ? How old are you now ?
Why do you think it will come back ?

Yes, I'm curious how old you are now as well. These things do not always have to come back. If this has been quite a few years since the experience, I wouldn't expect it to return. You cannot live your life in fear of something that will probably not happen again. Is your family devout Catholic?

So we're talking 6-9 years of no activity? I wouldn't worry about it for two reasons... first, there is no evidence to support another experience is coming... second, if you and your family are born again Christians, as children of God that spiritual protection and authority are RIGHTS to you. Even if it were to come back, you would then be able to say "you have no power here and cannot stay". It's that simple, God gives that authority to those that are His.
2 Timothy 1:7
For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Luke 10:19
Behold, I give you the authority to trample on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you.
