I have a new hot water heater and recently just had to move it because of a basement remodel, that being said,I have very little hot water pressure in my kitchen sink (and only my kitchen sink). Everywhere else in the house is fine, and the cold water at the kitchen sink is good as well. This is a real head scratcher, because once a week or so the hot water at the kitchen sink will spray with a good velocity and then quit again. Please help as I am losing my mind!

What you described sounds you have a partial blockage in your hot water feed.

This will take 2 people.

Shut off water to house and remove the valve stem from hot water side.

While one person holds a pail in front of valve opening have other person turn water on for about a 3 count. Then shut off and reinstall valve.

If this does not clear problem, then the blockage is in feed line to faucet. Shut off main and disconnect line at faucet and put in pail. Turn water on for a 4 count. Reconnect line.

If this does not solve problem, let us know and we will go from there.
